This is our first time to blog. So Im going to do my best! Im just going to update everyone to this point today. Since we saw the cardiologist in March, we have been seeing her and another doctor at UMC every three weeks and seeing my regular OBGYN in Clarksdale every two weeks! Lots and lots of appointments. Brent has been the best supportive husband and father he has barely missed an appointment with me! Thank goodness for our understanding jobs. What we know so far about the baby is that he will be born in Jackson at UMC and then we will have surgery at UMC 5-7 days after that. We have met with the surgeon once and he is awesome! We have complete faith that everything is going to be just fine! They wanted me to relocate to Jackson at 34 weeks. I was 34 weeks yesterday! We moved into the Ronald McDonald house on Monday. We have a really sweet patient care coordinator who helped us get in and has taken really good care of us! We love her! Brent stayed with me Monday night and had to go back to work on Tuesday after our appointments. I miss him already but he will be back on Friday and my mom is here with me until then. She has been so helpful in helping me clean and make our room a home. We will be here for quite a while! Our appointments on Tuesday went well! Little Nolan is doing great. He even has cute little fat rolls! Everything is right on schedule so far. For the rest of the week we will be saving our energy and trying to relax and rest up! Keep us in your prayers! And Hail State!!!
This verse has always been really close to my heart through attending PDS in Cleveland and took on another meaning through losing our very dear friend Josh Abide and now we feel that its the perfect verse for our family and Nolan at this time
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. - Joshua 1:9
